It’s amazing how fast and intuitive children can handle the iPad. It does not take long, of course, and the first iPad app for children has to come. So you do not lose track in the subject of children’s apps. We have diligently tested iPad apps for children, toddlers and the whole family and put together our favorites for you.

The Mouse

The free iPad app from the show with the mouse makes fun for children with and without internet connection! Offline, your child can explore a play landscape with their mouse and, for example skateboard with a mouse or let a paper ship sail. Online (best with a W-LAN connection) are in the iPad app many video contents available: The popular laugh and fact stories and the last two episodes of the show with the mouse have bridged us one or the other waiting time.

Lego Duplo Games

This iPad app is always great when the real Lego bricks cannot be there. For example, your child can wait in the waiting room longer with the beloved Duplo train play in the zoo to feed the animals or use the police car drive! Really nicely made free app that almost always works “frustration-free” even for younger children.

Toca Hairsalon 2

This iPad app is not just fun for kids! Also many have enjoyed the funny hairstyles. From hair wash, cutting, dyeing, styling and decorating everything is possible here – the app is also for children easy to use and very funny designed.

Capt’n Sharky: First Numbers

Together with Capt’n Sharky, your child gets to know the world of numbers. Nimble crabs are counted here, cannonballs added up or numbers noted. The handling of coins is practiced in a small shop. Thanks to the continuous voice output, in which Capt’n Sharky personally explains everything to your child, this iPad app can be played wonderfully even without reading skills! Anyway, your child will have a lot of fun with it.
