A quick snapshot to share on Instagram? This is the fastest way with a smartphone. Anyone who wants to shoot top shots on holiday or special events goes better with a digital camera. Zoom in every motif  has better image quality thanks to flash or larger sensors, much more setting options or a particularly short reaction time: There are plenty of reasons for a digital camera! We give some recommendations for choosing the perfect models and introduce them.

 Perfect View Of The Subject

Whether ski slope or summer beach – in bright sunshine, there are only reflections on the smartphone or camera display. Luckily for many digital cameras, a viewfinder provides more clarity. In SLRs, it is always included, even with very cheap models like the Canon EOS 2000D and the Nikon D3500. System cameras and compact cameras with viewfinder are often a bit more expensive. Among the cheapest are the system cameras Olympus E-M10 Mark III and Panasonic Lumix GX80 . When shooting overhead or near the ground, a folding or swivel display is extremely handy.

Full-Frame Sensor: Top Shots In Every Light

Top photo smartphones such as the Apple iPhone XS  or Huawei P30 Pro deliver great photos and videos during the day that are barely distinguishable from digital camera images on the smartphone display. If you zoom in on the picture, you will quickly notice that most smartphones offer a significantly higher picture quality with larger sensors. Especially compact cameras such as the Panasonic Lumix TZ202 with 1-inch sensors collect more light than the tiny smartphone sensors. This usually ensures better pictures even in daylight.

Lenses For SLR And System Cameras

The biggest advantage of SLR and system cameras is the interchangeable lens. For portraits, for example, a bright short telephoto is perfect. Good lenses like Canon EF 50mm f1.8 STM or Nikon AF-S Nikon 50mm f1.8G are already available from good prices. With an APS-C camera like the Nikon D3500, their focal lengths are around 80 millimeters (converted to 35 mm format). This succeeds on a small budget portraits, in which the background already sinking into blur – smartphones can’t do that.

Protective Film Shows Narrow Edges

The latest leak to the Galaxy Note 10 gives a look at the possible design of the front .In the form of a screen protector. On a picture published  on Twitter, there is a display slide, which is supposed to be a design for a cover sheet for the Note 10.Clearly recognizable are the narrow edges around the display, which are marked black in the film. The lower edge is slightly wider than the rest. It is also noticeable that the film has no recess for the front camera. According to news, that’s because the dimensions are missing. Even with the first designs for the Galaxy S10, this information was not available.

The New Galaxy Note 10 According To Pictures

The pictures show the normal Note 10 model with triple camera on the back. This is not like the predecessor horizontal and centered, but placed vertically in the upper left corner. As with the Galaxy S10 Samsung probably uses an Infinity display. The hole for the front camera should this time be positioned in the middle and a little smaller. The display is slightly bent on both sides. It has a narrow rim all around.

The case has a power button and volume buttons on the side, a USB-C port on the bottom and the slot for the S-Pen. In contrast, the design lacks both the headphone jack and the button. A fingerprint sensor is not visible. This is probably like the Galaxy S10 in the display.

Physical Buttons, Headphone Jack And Charger

According to news, Samsung has experimented with a touch 10 with no buttons. The prototypes discarded. The grade 10 should therefore be equipped with physical keys. That the headphone jack is missing, however, is confirmed. The Leaker has parallel released a picture with a flash, numbered 45 in binary code. This concludes the rumor mill that the battery can be charged with 45 watts. The Note 9 offers in comparison charging with a maximum of 15 watts.

The innovations for iOS 13 were a big topic at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference. Apple separates now strictly between iOS for the iPhone and iPad, in addition to a dark mode you can look forward to completely revised apps and many more features.

In addition to many new and helpful features for the new operating system for iPhone and iPad stands out above all a fact at this year’s conference: For the first time in the company’s history, Apple separates the iPhone and iPad and donated both devices their own OS version. Over an hour, Apple took time for iOS and iPadOS to present all the innovations.

The Dark Mode

The desire for a dark mode in iOS has been more and more present in the Apple community in the recent past . Finally Apple fulfills this wish. Although Apple was not too keen on the new feature: What we can take from the keynote, is that there will be new wallpapers, on which the dark fashion comes to its best advantage. Even in the apps themselves, the dark fashion provides a nice visual change.

Extensions For iMessages

The ubiquitous messaging app gets an upgrade that allows users to choose a name and image and choose who can see what info. The emojis also get a big update. Now users can create their own digital version of themselves with even more details. Especially women can look forward to the update, because here you can try all imaginable hairstyles and make-up wishes.

The iPad Gets Its Own OS

All the new features that appear on iOS 13 will also come on the iPad. Apple  separates for the first time the iOS for iPhone and iPad. With iPadOS, the iPad gets a new gesture control and a partially new interface. For example, if you wipe the home screen to the right, a mixture of homescreen and widgets will appear on the screen. In addition, users expect new multitasking capabilities, not just with system apps, but also with third-party apps.

New Homepod Function

The homepod has a lot of problems, but above all, it treats each voice as if it were the user who sets it up and ties it to its Apple ID. For a device that is intended for use at home, this is a frightening defect and, frankly, a security and privacy problem. Apple is not yet tackling this problem instead the voice will sound more natural with a Siri update. In addition, you can now put the iPhone near the HomePod, so that it automatically takes over the music played on the iPhone. If you remove the iPhone again, the music will play again on the iPhone.

Anyone who works a lot on the computer and sends WhatsApp messages has always had to use a smartphone. With WhatsApp Web, you can now easily access your chat history from the PC, send and receive new messages. We show you how it works.

How To Set Up WhatsApp Web

To access WhatsApp Web, simply enter whatsapp.com in your browser search bar. There you will see a QR code that you need to scan with your smartphone.

WhatsApp Web

For this, WhatsApp must be opened on the smartphone. In the WhatsApp home screen, you must click the three dots in the top right corner and select WhatsApp Web from the menu.

How The Connection Gets Disconnected Again

WhatsApp Web can connect to multiple computers, but chats are synced to only one computer. The connection between your smartphone and computer will persist even when the computer shuts down. To disconnect, you must first log out of the computer using the WhatsApp app. Simply select WhatsApp Web again in the menu and in the new window select the computer with which you last synchronized the chats.

Turn On Desktop Notifications

To be notified of new messages, the desktop notification feature can be activated. To do this, you must click on the box in the upper left of the WhatsApp window in the browser. The browser will ask for the required permission granted by clicking allow. WhatsApp web will now show you messages directly on the desktop when you receive new messages. Clicking on the messages, immediately opens the chat so that the new messages can be read and answered. The number of unread messages is also displayed in brackets in the WhatsApp tab of the browser.

Most current external SSD storage rarely achieves transfer speeds beyond 550 megabytes per second (MB / s). Among other things, this is due to the fact that the interfaces of the used mSATA memory no longer give.

Samsung’s Portable SSD X5 Is Different

It uses a flash memory with NVMe interface, as they use modern internal SSD storage for fast PCI Express transfers. And so that the connection does not become a bottleneck, the X5 connects via Thunderbolt 3 with computers. We have measured with the 1 terabyte large version of the memory, what comes out.

Samsung Portable SSD

Nothing Works Without Thunderbolt 3

In order to be able to ride Samsung’s high-speed SSD, you need a computer whose equipment meets the high demands. Thunderbolt 3 cannot be found on many notebooks, USB 3.1 is still standard here. On such devices you need the X5 but not only plug in, without Thunderbolt 3 no data flows. And even if the required port is present, the computer’s SSD may not be able to keep up, or the PCI express transmission may run on fewer channels than Samsung’s Turbo Storage.

Faster Than The Internal SSD

The test results are impressive. In System Test Lite, the Samsung Portable SSD X5 reached speeds of around 2550 MB / s, data it wrote at about 1800 MB / s. In the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, the memory came to just under 2400 MB / s (read) and 1750 MB / s (write). In both tests, the X5 left the internal SSD of the MacBook Pro at the write rates (1300 MB / s) clearly behind. While reading, both memories were a bit faster. A 30-gigabyte folder of photos and videos were copied from internal to external storage after about 15 seconds.

The Samsung Portable SSD X5 is extremely fast and displays the taillights, especially when reading data from all external SSD competitors. However, it costs about 500 euros with 1 TB in online trading, with 500 GB about 250 euros. That’s a lot of money and is really only worthwhile for users who need the speed and whose hardware can exploit the X5 -for example, in the professional 4K video editing.
